HEADTHREADS MAGAZINE

Headthreads Magazine is a magazine collective born in Naarm (Melbourne, Australia), who are dedicated to creating paid work for writers and producing meaningful long-form music journalism that truly represents what our local music community is trying to achieve in terms of bettering ourselves as an industry and society.
The team approached me and asked if I would like be their featured designer for the fourth issue of the magazine. The required assets included a cover design, a double page feature spread, some custom page backdrops and graphics to be used throughout the magazine, and a launch party event suite.
As this issue of the Magazine focussed mainly on the impact and re-integration of events and festivals across Victoria post-COVID, they wanted vibrant and colourful that would match this theme. I was given almost complete creative control over the project, and along with some collaborative efforts from the team, the below assets were created.
